Author of crime novels, born and raised in Wrocław. One of the most popular contemporary Polish prose writers. A classical philologist by education, in the years 1995 - 2007 a lecturer at the University of Wrocław. Currently a professional writer, winner of among others the Paszport Polityki award.
It was Krajewski who started the trend of crime stories again in Poland. In his books, you can find a perfect plot with a large dose of darkness and mystery, as well as extraordinary characters - ambiguously good, but not completely spoiled. The background of his novels are twentieth-century cities, including Wrocław, or rather Breslau. A gloomy, but fascinating place where the action of the first Krajewski’s novels takes place.
